The Vermont Walk/Bike Summit is an excellent opportunity to connect with community members, employers, planners and researchers from throughout the state for in-depth sharing on current efforts, new ideas, and networking to advance more livable communities.

This year’s Summit will include interactive demo workshops, peer exchanges, a highly-acclaimed keynote, and a variety of dynamic presentations and topics including advocacy and education, safe and healthy communities, economic development, and the built environment.

Getting Here

Parking in downtown White River Junction is limited so please use the Satellite Parking Lot & Shuttle Service at the Valley Bible Church (815 Fairview Terrace, WRJ) to the Barrette Center. Download Directions & Satellite Parking MapSatelliteParkingMap-WBSummit

Shuttle bus hours of operation are from 7:30am – 10:30am and 4:00pm – 6:00pm. There is also an option to park and bike to the venue however the route has fairly narrow and steep 10% grades so bike at your own risk. There will be bike racks available at the Barrette Center.



Check out Go! Vermont for carpooling options or park at the Wilder Park and Ride lot and take Advance Transit Green/Orange Route to the Summit. Buses are equipped with easy-to-use bicycle racks.
